A standard marine band VHF aerial/antenna. Almost identical to the Shakespeare 5215 AIS aerial that we feature in this section of our website but tuned to 156.8 MHz rather than 162 MHz that the AIS version is tuned to.

Stainless whip type aerial with L bracket
Available with or without low loss 6.5mm RG8X co-axial cable – call if you need cable cut to your specified length.
Cable supplied with two high quality PL259 connectors with gold plated centre tip (no greying/black build up on the tip over time). For ease of installation cable can be sent with one PL259 fitted and the other for you to fit after running the cable through deck fittings, bulkhead etc. Bare cable end is professionally prepared and ready to screw on the other PL259; centre tip needs to be soldered – very important. Helpful instructions and even some low melting point solder is included. Most of our cable sales are sent out this way by customer request so it’s important to specify in your cable order if you would like one or both PL259 connectors fitted.
