Refund Policy

We offer a money-back guarantee for all purchases made on our website. If you are not satisfied with the product that you have purchased from us you are eligible for a full reimbursement within 30 calendar days of your purchase subject to the conditions set out below. After the 30-day period, you will no longer be eligible and won’t be able to receive a refund. We encourage you to try the product in the first 30 days after purchase to ensure it meets your needs.

Conditions:

If you should decide to exercise your right under our refund policy you must advise us either by letter or by email within the 30 day period described above. You must not return any item unless this has been agreed by us in writing (email). Unless the goods are faulty or not what you ordered, it is your responsibility to meet the cost of returning the goods which must be by way of a tracked and insured method. Returned goods must be received from you in an undamaged condition (including packaging) and not show any signs of undue handling. All accessories supplied with the product must be returned including instruction books. Cables that have been shortened or damaged will not be accepted back and will be charged for in full. It will be your responsibility to ensure any item that you return is adequately packed and insured before sending to us. We will not be responsible for a returned item until delivered to our premises, loss or damage during transportation will be the responsibility of the freight handler that you have chosen and you must bear any subsequent loss.  Do not write or stick anything on the product box which must itself be protected by a suitable wrapper or box.  If the  actual product box is not as new when received from you a charge will be made for a replacement. We can mail you a returns box if you have destroyed the one that the product box came in; there will be a small charge for this service.

If you return an item as faulty that we consider is the result of unprofessional  installation, misuse or any other external influence that may effect the Onwa product’s performance,  we will refuse a refund. In some circumstances we may consider a partial refund if the product can be restored to as new condition in every respect.

K-charts: We will not refund the cost of a chart plotter if you should decide that the free Onwa K-charts are not as good as Navionics or C-Map. Due allowance needs to be made for K-charts being a free product whilst the commercial charts are a substantial cost to buy. If you are not satisfied with the free chart system we do offer Navionics charts at a discount on the manufactures list price.

If you ask us to order in an item that we do not usually stock or one that has been customised for you in some way and then change your mind we will make a 25% restocking and administration fee.

Summary:

We do expect to receive the item back in exactly the condition that it was sent to you.  Any handling must be conducive with that necessary to examine and assess the product i.e. the sort of handling that would be expected had you examined the item in a shop. An indication of excess handling/marks/soiling etc will devalue the product and a deduction will be made to cover devaluation of the goods if these conditions are not adhered to.
