KM-Multi 8 and 12 inch totally new models.
Announcing a new generation of multi function chart plotters from Onwa Marine Electronics. To mention just a few of the many features available on these new plotters:
NMEA2000 data. NMEA0183 data.
Latest NMEA OneNet data system.
This is an I.P (Internet Protocol) based system – the same as that used for communication between computers. Everything simply connects via a standard network cable giving super fast transfer rates up to 10Gbits/sec and can carry HD video for cameras, radar and sonar data. Number of other items that can be connected together via a router using OneNet is virtually limitless and all at a speed of up to 10 gbits/second.
HDMI video output (option)
Class B+ 5 Watt SOTDMA AIS (KM8X. KMA8A, KM12X, KM12A)
Built in 600 or 1000Watt fish-finder/sounder (KM8X KM8C, KM12X, KM12C) supplied with 600 Watt transducer, 1000 Watt is an option.
Built in full radar function with radar trace either on a dedicated radar page or overlaid onto chart screen (Radar antenna needed) Radar antenna simply plugs in via a standard network cable – it is truly plug and play
Gauges display function e.g engine, genset, rudder – all via built in NMEA2000
Ethernet connection for radar function
1024 x 768 display resolution
HDMI upgrade is an option – to send the plotter screen to a 2nd large display with HDMI input. HDMI is an option when ordering but can be retro fitted at any time as we keep the HDMI install kits.
Touch screen version of KMX models (planned)

Roger owns a KM12X and is pleased enough with it to want to tell you about it as well. Click the button above to view Roger’s video. You will learn a lot of the KM12X and also a lot about chart plotters in general for anyone new to the product. Roger really does know what he is talking about.
